Scarlett Johansson is an American actor and singer who was born in NYC New York on November 22 the 22nd of November, 1984. Her performances have earned the attention of a broad variety of genres, including the genres of period dramas or thrillers, as well as action films. Johansson was born in New York City, and raised there by her father who was an architect and her mother, a producer. Hunter was twin to her younger sister. Her interest began in acting at an early age and was auditioning for commercials before the age of seven. Her interest in acting grew quickly and she enrolled soon after at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. In the Off-Broadway production Sophistry she acted alongside Ethan Hawke. She then had her first appearance in a film with North (1994) and was written by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson made her debut on screen in Just Cause (1996), however it was Manny & Lo 1996 that was her breakthrough. The film is about two girls orphaned by their parents who are running away. The Horse Whisperer (1998), in which Johansson plays the role of a teenager with a facial disfigurement, received praise from critics. Then she was hailed as cynical teenager Rebecca in Ghost World. Her fame was due to her role on Nell Jones, the CBS popular series NCIS Los Angeles. She was a prize-winning actress and one of the most important cast members on the series. She's an excellent stage actor. Her fame is based on her outstanding performance in plays such as Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith started her professional career in entertainment from a very young age. When she was a kid she fell in love with acting. Smith was offered her first acting gig when she was just six, with her parents' encouragement. Smith was in a Dannon TV commercial. Like many other actresses starting out she decided to hone her craft in the world of theatre. In addition, she worked on other projects throughout the USA as well, and Wildflower was her first onstage production. She was educated at The Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
