Laura Linney

Laura Linney is an American actress, who is well-known for her portrayal of strong, yet vulnerable character. Linney came from an aristocratic family that loved theatre. Her father, Romulus Linney was a renowned writer. She graduated in 1986 at Brown University. She then went on to study Theatre Arts at Arts Theatre School Moscow before finishing her studies at Juilliard School with a M.F.A. located in New York City in 1990. She started performing immediately in the city on Broadway and was awarded awards for her performances in roles like Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
